Musculoskeletal disorders are injuries or pain in the body’s joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves, tendons, and structures that support limbs, neck and back. They can affect many different parts of the body and can arise from a sudden exertion (e.g., lifting a heavy object), a postural issue or a repetitive motion. Examples of specific disorders are carpal tunnel syndrome or back pain.
Osteoporosis is a progressive disease resulting in a reduction in the mass and density of bone and physiotherapy can assist in advising strengthening exercises and activity that can reduce it’s effect.
Orthopaedic and Post-operative Rehabilitation
Orthopaedic Physiotherapy specialises in the treatment of patients undergoing planned surgery (elective) or those who are admitted to hospital due to a traumatic accident or incident.
We can also provide Physiotherapy home visits if you are unable to attend the clinic due to your medical condition or are recovering from an injury or operation.

Whether you are training hard or working hard it is important to look after our bodies. Therefore we are pleased to offer a soft tissue massage service to relieve muscular tension throughout the body.
